1. Purpose
This Code of Conduct establishes ethical, professional, and behavioral standards for all media production activities, including video production, filming, editing, post‑production, and drone operations. It is designed to promote public trust, creative integrity, safety, and respect for individuals, communities, and clients.
2. Scope
This Code applies to all personnel, contractors, freelancers, and collaborators involved in:

Drone and aerial operations
These standards apply in all environments, including public spaces, private property (with permission), studios, events, & online platforms.
3. Professionalism & Integrity

Conduct all media activities with honesty, professionalism, and accountability.

Represent the organization and clients respectfully in public and professional settings.

Do not misrepresent facts, events, or subjects through deceptive filming or editing practices.
4. Respect for People & Privacy
-
Respect the dignity, privacy, and reasonable expectations of individuals.

Avoid intrusive, deceptive, or exploitative filming practices.

Obtain appropriate permissions, releases, or consent when required.

Exercise heightened sensitivity when filming vulnerable individuals, private property, or sensitive situations.
5. Ethical Storytelling & Editorial Responsibility

Strive for accuracy, context, and fairness in visual storytelling.

Do not manipulate footage, audio, or imagery in a way that materially misleads the audience.

Clearly distinguish between factual content, promotional material, and creative or dramatized work.
6. Safety‑First Mindset

Prioritize the safety of crew, subjects, and the public over creative objectives or deadlines.

Follow established safety protocols for filming environments, equipment use, and aerial operations.

Cease operations immediately if conditions become unsafe or unpredictable.
7. Drone & Aerial Operations Conduct

Operate drones responsibly, lawfully, and with respect for public safety and privacy.

Avoid flights that intimidate, harass, or unnecessarily disrupt people, events, or wildlife.

Be mindful of public perception and community impact when conducting aerial filming.
8. Use of Technology & Equipment

Use cameras, drones, microphones, and software responsibly and only for authorized purposes.

Protect equipment from misuse, neglect, or unsafe operation.

Do not use technology to unlawfully monitor, record, or collect data on individuals.
9. Editing & Post‑Production Ethics

Maintain the integrity of recorded material throughout the editing process.

Avoid altering content in ways that distort reality, misattribute statements, or change the meaning of events.

Ensure edits align with the intended message, client agreements, and ethical standards.
10. Data Handling & Content Management

Securely store footage, audio, imagery, and project files.

Limit access to sensitive or unpublished content to authorized personnel.

Do not share, sell, or distribute content without proper authorization.
11. Transparency & Accountability

Be prepared to identify yourself and explain your role when operating in public spaces, when appropriate.

Address questions or concerns from the public respectfully and professionally.

Report unethical behavior, safety concerns, or policy violations through appropriate channels.
12. Conflicts of Interest

Disclose conflicts of interest that could influence creative, editorial, or operational decisions.

Do not use access, footage, or equipment for personal gain or unauthorized purposes.
13. Social Media & Public Distribution

Share media content responsibly and in alignment with professional standards.

Avoid publishing content that invades privacy, misleads audiences, or compromises safety.

Ensure public releases comply with contractual, ethical, and legal obligations.
14. Enforcement & Responsibility

Violations of this Code may result in corrective action, retraining, or removal from projects.

Serious or repeated violations may result in termination of engagement or operational privileges.
15. Commitment
All individuals involved in media production and drone operations are expected to understand and uphold this Code of Conduct.
